The Plot Progresses... Clarissa's eyes slowly opened and adjusted to the dim room. She didn't feel well; Did she really do that much coke last night? She couldn't remember. Actually, she didn't even remember checking into this hotel. Who was she with? The small framed black haired girl carefully rolled to the side of the bed, her hands racing to her forehead to put pressure against her throbbing temples. She reached an arm out to the side table and began feeling around for her phone. Table Alarm clock Glass of water- Now on the floor. Cell phone! She grabbed it and held her thumb to the home button. Her eyes were shut as she waited for the screen to illuminate. When it didn't the girl opened her eyes, "What the fuck?" Her eyes pinned back, her heart dropping into her stomach. Her hands and arms were covered in blood, her cell phone screen smashed into tiny bits being held back by a screen protector. Clarissa sat up straight, her eyes studying the room around her in horror. Blood was everywhere, it soiled the white duvet cover and splattered against the walls and carpet. She scooted herself out of the bed quickly and hit the floor with a loud thud. Clank- Clank- Gurgle- Groan- It sounded like someone was in the bathroom. Clarissa lifted herself from the bloody carpet in a huff of disgust. In doing so she got a good look at herself in the mirror above the dresser. Pain rushed over her body like a wave crashing down and she began to tremble. Half of her face had been ripped off, the flesh hanging from the edge of her left jaw. She shrieked, stumbling forward to get a closer look in the mirror. Tears rushed down her face, the salty liquid stinging the open wound. "Help! Somebody help me!" She screamed. Whoever was in the bathroom began stirring around more, hitting the door and knocking things down onto the tile floor. "Please help me!" She screamed again, stumbling over to the door where the noise came from. Her hands were shaking uncontrollably, she could barley get a grip on the door knob between the tremors and the blood. "What... what happened?" She was crying, her body going into shock. Finally she grasped the knob tight enough to pull it open. Inside the walls were splattered with blood, the same as in the main room. The medicine cabinet had been pulled from the wall and laid in the open bathtub in two bloody and abused pieces. She was trying to piece everything together in a matter of seconds but her train of thought was interrupted by teeth latching onto her calf. Clarissa screamed again, her hands racing down to the head that was at her feet. She grabbed them by the hair and yanked them off of her body, skin ripping away in their mouth. She looked at their face; It was covered in blood, their eyes washed white and blood shot. Their veins seemed to have surfaced turning their pale skin bruised and spider-webbed. The worst part is their chest seemed to be caved in, ribs sticking out between torn skin. It looked like someone had beat them, there was no way they could be alive. In a burst of adrenaline Clarissa ran for the door. Trembling hands fidgeting with the locks until she opened it and darted down the hall screaming. For some reason no one seemed to be in the hotel... She navigated her way out onto the street where cars lined the lanes in almost stopped traffic. Everyone around her wore a face mask and as she ran down the road people all stopped and stared, but no one cared to help. "Someone help me!" She screamed, still running. Thankfully she knew where she was, it was only a block away from the hospital. Clarissa ran into the road in between the snailing cars, she ran through parking lots and in between the closely knit buildings. She was exhausted and quickly running out of breath. She looked over her shoulder and noticed a trail of blood following her limping dashes. She began feeling weak but still kept running, she knew she needed to get to the ER or she was going to bleed out. How come no one is helping me? She kept going, becoming more and more weak with each stride. Finally she reached the hospital, her body falling against the side of the building smearing blood as she slinked past the commotion in front of the doors. Men with guns? Wait where they guns? As she neared the door to the lobby her vision began to blur, everything was fading in and out. She stumbled into the sliding doors and fell to her knees. "Ple- pl-" She could barely talk, her body started to stiffen and when she lifted her head she couldn't see anything. "So- elp- ple" She couldn't talk, nothing was working. She lifted herself back to her feet and began stepping forwards. She wanted to scream but as she inhaled into to release the air from her chest a searing pain flew right through her filled lungs. Her eye sight flickered back in for only a moment and she saw a man with a large gun standing before her and just as quickly as she tried to gasp for help he fired his weapon, bullets raining through her chest. The woman's body hit the floor and the large crowd all stepped away, some running for the door. The men with guns blocked the exits, their guns now in firing position. The man who shot the black haired woman down stepped over to her and reached for her neck, pulling off his glove to feel for a pulse. She was dead for sure. He turned to his crew and gave them a hand signal. As they were about to move from the doors to let the panicked crowed out of the lobby the girl shot straight up from the floor, her hands reaching out for the man that shot her dead. She grasped his arm and the crowed watched in horror as she tore into her flesh, teeth ripping skin away from his bones. Guns rang out into the room once more, this time shooting not only the girl but the man as well. Bullets sprayed from poorly trained hands and hit a few in the surrounding area. Screamed filled the room, blood spilling out onto the floor. The girl was on her feet now and spun around, attacking a young man standing behind her. Her teeth dug into his shoulder then violently ripped away, pulling skin and tendons out into her mouth. The hospital was in total chaos. The doors were flooded, some of the armed men trampled into corpse pancakes onto the tile floor. Guns still echoed through the room, bullets spraying left and right. Anyone that looked sick had been shot and as if a trigger occurred they became aggressive, attacking anyone in their wake. Your prompt; (Rallying the troops) The doors leading out of the hospital are a shit show. Bodies began piling up blocking the exit. There are also two corridors that lead from the lobby, the large metal doors activated only by an employee card. Options are thinning and among the bloody chaos you choose to head towards the right corridor, hoping to find someone to open it. You see man with blonde hair and a suit on standing at the lobby desk, he seems to be tossing things around. You notice he finds the employee key card and as he rushes back to the door to open it you follow in toe. |
